cardztv anything goes challenge #2

happy friday! it's time again for another anything goes challenge at cardztv. if you havent yet, be sure to check out the awesome projects the rest of the design team have created . be sure to play along with us as you'll have a chance to win a set of mary's awesome stamps!
here's my project. i love to create little scenes using buttons, moss, findings..whatevers in my craft stash.

isn't that little deer the cutest :)

for the tree i used a craft pick. then added the button owl with hot glue.

the gnome, bunny. leaves and corn are all buttons too. i made the mushrooms out of unfinished wood that i colored with bic markits and acrylic paint for the white dots. the tree stumps are from hobby lobby. they come cut and prepackaged.

of course i had to add one of my favorite critters.. a squirrel :) i was thrilled when i saw this was in the assorted button pack :)

i used a cardztv stamp from the frankly frightful set. i stamped the saying on a piece of wood and inked the edges a bit. then added a pumpkin button.

sweet scarecrow button. i added some frou frou behind him. i used a paper flower that i adhered to a wood flower pick. i found a pack of green picks in the floral section of hobby lobby. i also hot glued one on the back side of the scarecrow then hot glued that onto the moss. i didnt get a good pic of the sign under the hello pumpkin sign, it came in the button pack and says pumpkin patch.

button bunny and a little wooden ladybug.

heres just a top view of it all. i forgot to mention earlier, for the base i took a piece of unfinished wood , found in the unfinished wood section at hobby lobby. ..i covered that in moss, it comes in a sheet with sticky backing so all i have to do is cut to size , peel off the back paper and press it onto the wood. i love this stuff for this type of project :) i hope ive inspired you and shown you dont need to sew to use buttons :)

this is the stamp set i used . you can purchase that plus many others AND some fabulous precolored die cuts right ~>here<~

thank you so much for visiting my blog and your sweet comments always make me smile. thank you for that too :)  happy crafting and have a great rest of day/night.
